Parade and then park at our designated parking point for about several hours at the Riverwalk. Over 60,000 people attend this celebration in July. Later in the evening the fireworks begin accompanied by music from local radio stations and a resturant scripts will be provided to art car artists.

Accomodations

Primitive camping at the Montagne Studio grounds is highly recommended.  Silverthorne, Colorado is located 70 miles west of Denver.  The usual motels and hotels and campgrounds are twenty minutes away as well as the nearest grocery or convenience store, restaurant, etc.  Wonderfully remote, quiet and dark.  Stars everywhere resting on the Gore Mountain Range and the artist has built a Native American communal sweat lodge on the site which will be available for the art car artist through reservations.

Amenities

In the heart of ski country, summertime activities include free concerts in local parks, hiking, biking and rollerblading over many miles of paved trails.  Hot Sulphur Springs is a jaunt down the road, west,  with full time masseuses, water activities and lots of lolling about in hot, steamy sulphur water, bring your suit.  Nominal fees for soaking.
Silverthorne Athletic Club is open to visitors and has whirlpool, steamroom, weight training and showers available for a nominal fee.  A wonderful respite for road savvy Art Car Paraders.
